0% commission

We don’t charge commission when you buy foreign currency or foreign currency travellers cheques. And we only charge 1% for Sterling travellers cheques.

Buy up to £7,500 – in a secure environment

There’s a Bureau de Change in 117 M&S stores across the UK. Giving you a safe place to buy foreign currency and travellers cheques – 7 days a week, whenever M&S is open.

Choose how you pay

You can pay for your travel money by cash or credit/debit card. If you use your M&S Credit Card or Chargecard, there are no cash advance or foreign exchange fees. And you get up to 55 days interest free, just like other card purchases.

Bring some ID

If you pay by credit or debit card, we’ll ask to see a UK passport, full UK driving licence or national ID card. We also check ID for some cash payments, so bring something with you, just in case.

Unused notes and travellers cheques

If you don’t use all your foreign currency notes and travellers cheques, we’ll buy them back commission free (as long as we sell the currency and denominations you want to exchange). We also have Change4Change collection boxes for foreign coins – all the money we collect goes to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Home delivery

If you have an M&S Credit Card or Chargecard, you can order between £100 and £2,500 of foreign currency and travellers cheques – online or over the phone. If you order your travel money before 1pm, we’ll deliver it to your home address the next working day. This service is free for orders over £500, and costs just £5 for orders up to £500.
