When you return from your trip abroad, we’ll buy back the foreign currency and travellers cheques you haven’t used. Our buy back service is commission free – and available at all our in store bureaux de change.

We only buy back notes in the denominations we sell – and we don’t buy back coins. If you want, you can put foreign coins in our Change4Change box, and the money will be donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

If you bought your foreign currency online or by phone, you can return your unused notes to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery at the following address:

We’ll refund the card you used to buy the currency – at the buy back exchange rate on the day we make the refund.

Our buy back service is also available to visitors to the UK. Simply visit an M&S Bureau de Change and exchange your home currency for pounds sterling.
