Can you apply?

To apply for an M&S Stocks & Shares ISA you have to be a UK resident aged 18 or over.

Can you top up?

To top up your M&S Stocks & Shares ISA you must have saved in the current or previous tax year.

How much can you save?

You can save up to £7,200 per tax year in a Stocks and Shares ISA – or up to £10,200 if you will be aged 50 or over on 5 April 2010 (effective from 6 October 2009). Find out more about the changes to Stocks and Shares ISA limits.

What you'll be asked for

Your contact details – your address should be the same as you use for your debit card
Your email address
Your bank or building society details
Your debit card details to make a deposit, with enough cleared funds in the account
We may ask you for proof of identity and/or bank details for verification at a later stage.
