What you should know before you apply

Are you eligible?

To apply for an M&S Fixed Rate Savings you have to be a UK resident aged 16 or over.

What you'll be asked for

Your contact details – your address should be the same as you use for your debit card
Your email address
Your bank or building society details
Your debit card details to make a deposit, with enough cleared funds in the account
We may ask you for proof of identity and/or bank details for verification at a later stage.

Initial deposit

You can open Fixed Rate Savings online with up to £50,000. If you want to open an account with more than £50,000, call us on 0808 001 1111. Calls may be recorded.
