Interest is calculated daily on the cleared balance of your account and paid to your account monthly.
You can save from £1 up to any amount. Maximum deposit is £1 million.
You can pay money into your savings account by cheque, debit card, standing order or BACS transfer:
Cheque - All cheques paid into the Account must be made payable to you. You should write your name, address, sort code and account number on the reverse of the cheque and send it to us at:

Debit cards - We accept any debit card with the Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa Electron or Solo symbol. Please call us on 0845 900 0900 with your debit card details. Calls may be recorded.
Standing order or BACS Transfers - You will need to set up these payment methods directly with your bank.
You can telephone us on 0845 900 0900, to make a withdrawal. Withdrawals will be paid to your linked bank or building society account. You can withdraw your money as often as you like and without charge. Calls may be recorded.

Whichever way is convenient for you, you will be able to check your balance, your payment history and how much interest you have earned. You can also make payments and withdrawals and update your details.
