Premier or Standard?

Premier policies have higher cover limits and a wide range of benefits – including cover if you take your pet abroad. Standard cover is cheaper, but the cover limits aren’t as high as Premier, and you don’t get the full range of benefits.

Long term cover

Your pet is covered for the continuing costs of long term veterinary treatment up to the annual limit of your policy. You can continue to claim up to your annual limit for as long as you renew with us and we can continue to offer cover.

Pet food for a year

Take out M&S Pet Insurance before 31 December 2009 and you could win a year’s supply of food for your cat or dog from Bestpet.co.uk. Your name will automatically be entered into a prize draw for one of six chances to win.

Theft or straying

If your pet goes missing or is stolen, you’ll receive money towards advertising and any reward.

Emergency boarding

If you’re in hospital due to emergency medical treatment as a result of illness or injury, you’ll receive money towards the cost of kennels or daily minding.

If you’re worried about your pet’s health, you can call Vetfone. It’s a free helpline, manned by qualified vet nurses and open 24 hours a day.

Big discount

You’ll save 15% on your M&S Pet Insurance when you buy online. What’s more if you’ve got an M&S card, you’ll receive 250 M&S points when you take out a policy.
