Are you eligible?

To apply for an M&S Credit Card you have to be a UK resident aged 18 or over.

What you’ll be asked for

Your income and employment details
The account number and sort code of your bank or building society
An email address
Your previous address, if you’ve lived at your current address for less than 3 years

Terms and conditions

Before you start your application, you need to read (and agree to) our terms and conditions.

If you are interested in joining M&S Premium Club for just £10 a month for an initial 12 months, you should read the Premium Club Terms & Conditions and Travel Insurance policy booklet.

If you do have an existing medical condition not detailed in the policy booklet please call 0845 900 0900 to join M&S Premium Club.

Credit and interest rates

Credit is subject to status. The rate we offer will depend on our assessment of your circumstances.

Checking your details

When we check your details with a credit reference agency, a search/enquiry is registered to say that you’ve applied for credit today. As part of our checks, we link your name with individuals associated with you financially, and any previous names you’ve provided.

We’ll also check your details with a fraud prevention agency to prevent fraud and money laundering. If you’ve provided false or inaccurate information (and fraud is identified) we’ll pass your details to fraud prevention agencies. If you want, we can explain how your information held by fraud and other credit reference agencies may be used.

Your new card and PIN

If your application is approved, we’ll send your PIN first, followed by your M&S Credit Card a few days later. You should receive your new card and PIN within seven to ten days.

M&S Premium Club

During your application for the M&S Credit Card you will be asked whether you would like to join M&S Premium Club and enjoy exclusive special treatment, triple points, valuable worldwide multi-trip family Travel Insurance and M&S Café vouchers up to a value of £120, plus more gifts, treats and delights all year round for just £10 a month, for an initial 12 months.
