Business Overview
In November 2004, we became part of the HSBC Group, but we continue to operate under the M&S Money brand. Our executive committee comprises an equal number of Marks & Spencer and HSBC representatives.
The HSBC Group is one of the world's largest financial services organisations – with over 100 million customers worldwide. The Group is also one of the most strongly capitalised and liquid banks in the world.
Based in the North West
M&S Money employs 1,200 staff at our headquarters in Chester, where we actively support the local community – focusing our efforts, both financially and voluntarily, on a number of charities and schools.
